Oerlis Realistic Photo Resource Pack for Minecraft 1.12.2/1.11.2

The main focus for the creators of the Oerlis Realistic Photo Resource Pack 1.11.2 is without a doubt the realistic aspect of textures instead of making the textures extremely different and unrecognizable. For example the lava, it‘s incredibly beautiful and realistic at the same time. Not a lot of realistic resource pack makers can pull off lava since it‘s real difficult to make realistic but appealing at the same time.

There are a few textures of the Oerlis Realistic Photo Resource Pack that aren‘t appealing in the slightest though. The resource pack is still being worked on and new things are still being implemented and improved. It can be rather challening to make something look incredibly realistic but look good at the same time, since not everything in the world does.

Note: If your minecraft “Crash” initializing a resource pack means you did something wrong, or your computer does not fulfill the minimum requirements. Check the version of your OptiFine, and see if really OptiFine is running with your minecraft, also recommend seeing your version of Java, it updates often and it is essential to have minecraft with the power graph at most.

  1. This resource pack has not been updated since 1.8.8 and all references to it point to downloads for it. The resourcepack will appear as incompatible to 1.9, 1.10 and 1.11 environments unless a user knows how to update the pack.mcmeta file included in the zip. That will only address the “Incompatible” error shown in Minecraft when trying to use it on a later version. The developer still needs to update them to include the new blocks added for each release. If they have abandoned the project, I would not want to advertise it on my website as being current.

I know we’ve had this conversation about other ResourcePacks and you’re concerned about competition, but listing it with 1.11.2 and 1.11 ready doesn’t actually help anyone until it is available (if ever). To make it easier for you and to make your visitors actually use your site, don’t update them all with a blanket statement that they are there when they are not. Require the owners to submit it to you for inclusion on your website. That would make it more user-friendly to visitors coming here and as far as competition goes, you would have accurate information which is more useful than not. – Steve
